The dramatic Amalfi Coast is perfect for a honeymoon or romantic escape. Days here are all about relaxing at your cliffside hotel and savoring Italian cuisine and lots of aperitivo. If you can afford it, rent a boat to see the coast from the water (most hotels are not waterfront and only a few have beach clubs) and have lunch at one of the popular restaurants that can only be reached by boat. Capri is located nearby and people often go there for a few days before or after.

This restaurant at Le Sirenuse hotel is incredibly romantic—every night it's lit with 400 candles—and the Mediterranean classics and pastas are delicious. Come for sunset and have pre-dinner drinks at the hotel's Champagne Bar. 

Le Sirenuse Champagne & Oyster Bar

This classic Champagne bar at Le Sirenuse hotel is more than just a bar, it's perfect for dinner with an insane view of Positano. Le Sirenuse also has Franco's Bar, but this one is more refined and less crowded.

The most photographed and touristed town on the Amalfi Coast, Positano is rightfully a major attraction—it is absolutely beautiful. It can be very crowded during peak season, but it's still worth visiting to walk around and shop. Once you've explored a bit, go to the Champagne Bar at Le Sirenuse hotel for an iconic view of Positano and aperitivo. 

Ravello

Ravello is the most low-key, charming town on the Amalfi Coast. Come in the mid-afternoon to walk through the main square, see the stunning Villa Cimbrone and then have aperitivo at the luxurious Belmond Caruso hotel. Stay for dinner at the hotel or go to Vittoria, a super casual pasta and pizza restaurant in town.

Ristorante Lo Scoglio

Take a boat to this family-run waterfront restaurant for a leisurely lunch—don’t miss the zucchini spaghetti. 

Sentiero degli Dei (Path of the Gods)

Stunning hike along the coast with gorgeous views. It's not too challenging and probably takes around two hours. It ends near Positano, so do it in the morning and then have lunch at La Tagliata, a family-run restaurant with amazing views.

Villa Cimbrone

Gorgeous villa and gardens with stunning views of the coast. If you come to Ravello, definitely save about an hour to walk around here and take in the spectacular setting.
