Hotel Saltus in the Dolomites is a really special find. We spent two nights there with friends in autumn and it was exactly what you’d want from a mountain escape – a rooftop pool with the most incredible views, modern Alpine interiors, and the kind of healthy, considered breakfasts and dinners that make you feel genuinely looked after. The roasted chestnuts were a lovely touch that felt so right for the season. The sort of place that stays with you.
