Nestled in the middle of Ibiza’s old town, this aesthetically minded boutique hotel reimagines an iconic Ibiza building from the 1930s, with 33 rooms, a restaurant and a panoramic rooftop bar with stunning views of Dalt Vila. Bright, lively interiors are inspired by bohemian Ibiza, and the rooms feature fun patterns, playful fringes and cosmic elements, and unique details like sea-shell indented walls and rattan mushroom lamps. While there aren’t many amenities (no gym, pool, or spa), Montesol has a lovely rooftop bar that overlooks the historical old town and castle. It’s a hotspot worthy of a sunset drink whether you’re staying at the hotel or not. Great for those looking for an affordable yet design-y base, or for a one night stay to explore the shops and restaurants in the old town.
Really fabulous location right in Ibiza town, next to the old fort, shops, and restaurants, that’s design-minded yet affordable. Decor is an Instagram dream aesthetic, bright & trendy (celestial symbols, rattan mushroom lamps) but still stylish. Not many amenities but for a restaurant on the ground floor and rooftop bar with spectacular views — definitely the highlight. Grab a drink at sunset even if you’re not staying at the hotel. I wouldn’t tell my parents to stay here but for a young couple/ group of girlfriends who want a central home base it’s great.
